Eight Belles – you deserved better than we gave

There’s no celebration in horseracing this year.  Too many breakdowns.  Too much greeding in the breeding.  I’ve said for years, many of the things that Eight Belles tragic end brought to primetime.  Even Genuine Regard, my namesake’s grandson, fell to track euthanization. 

Don’t make me get back on my stewardship box . . .  You know oh man what is good and what the Lord requires of you . . .  Enough with the discussions and your woeful fear of resolute action.
